The RAC provided input into the development of materials to increase the quality of the sessions for residents and give them a valuable experience.
Alex A Sawyer, MD
Alex A Sawyer, MD, is a resident committee member of the STREAM (Sustaining and Training for Resilience, Engagement, and Meaning) Program. She is currently a chief resident for the pediatric residency program at the University of Colorado working in Children's Hospital Colorado and Denver Health Medical Center. She hopes to train in pediatric endocrinology following her chief residency.
Alexandra Collell, MD
Alexandra Collell MD is a member of the resident advisory committee for STREAM. She is originally from Anaheim, California, completed medical school in upstate New York, and is now a second-year pediatric resident at University Colorado. Her professional goals and interests include pediatric critical care, medical education, climate change, and promoting wellness and resiliency for healthcare providers.

Macala Maney, MD, is a member of the STREAM (Sustaining and Training for Resilience, Engagement, and Meaning) Resident Advisor Committee. She is currently a Pediatric Resident at Nationwide Children's Hospital and active member of the NCH Resident Wellness Committee.
Seda Ekici, MD
Seda Ekici is a second-year pediatrics resident at Seattle’s Children Hospital. I received my MD degree from the University of Washington and PhD degree from the University of Pennsylvania. I have an interest in improving the lives of physicians as I had a young child during training, and I experience the extra challenges of having a family firsthand. I enjoy traveling, hiking, and spending time on the beach with my family in my spare time.

Julia Plourde, MD
Julia Plourde, MD, is a second-year resident at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH. Prior to arriving at Nationwide, she completed her MD and a Graduate Certificate in Social Determinants of Health at the University of Connecticut in Farmington, CT. Before medical school, she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training and worked as an Athletic Trainer for over 2 years. She is a current member of the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Residency Wellness Committee. Julia enjoys wellness activities with her husband, Ryan Ciarlo, MD, two cats named Lewis and Clark, and her horse named Marty McFly.
